A Country Inn in historic Lexington, Virginia
The oldest section of the Inn was built in 1809. Additions were made to either end in 1816 and 1857. The property was purchased in 1907 and made into the Central Hotel and continued as a hotel and boarding house until 1971-72, when it was purchased by the Historic Lexington Foundation and restoration of the exterior was begun.
Now featuring 16 guest rooms and suites, the McCampbell Inn is a Virginia Historic Landmark and is on the National Historic Register.
